Brilliant concert

We spent a great evening enjoying a concert in which our neighbour Marie Claire took part. There were over 500 chorists from all over the Main-et-Loire region and musicians from Angers and the national school of music at Cholet.
The first half of the concert consisted of “La Missa Gallica” traditional old French music and was absolutely amazing. One of the best performances we have heard for a long time.
The second half was the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and songs from many of the West End Musicals.
There were over 3000 people in the audience and there was certainly a fantastic standing ovation at the end of the concert.
