La Comice
As this area is mostly farming and agriculture each commune takes its turn each year to host the Comice – which is an agricultural show.
This year was the turn of a village close by called Chartené to host this event. Everyone in the village takes part in putting this event together and it is taken very seriously. Unfortunately this year after a long hot spell of weather on the day of the Comice it was not so good, very cloudy with some rain. This however did not dampen their spirits and as usual there was a great turnout.
