Surprise for 2008!

We received a letter from the Marie of Cuon which we thought said we had won a prize for the flowers in our garden during the year. We were not sure because our English translation of the letter could have been incorrect!!
Anyway we were summoned to the Marie’s office and to our surprise we were presented with the plant arrangement shown in the photo.
We are still not quite sure what is was for but we are amazed at the acceptance shown to us by the French.
